The Mission of the Museum is to preserve the Howard family story, their mansion and the history of their shipyards and to foster an appreciation of the development of river steamboats and commerce along the way.

Museum Hours
Tuesday-Saturday: 10 - 4
Sunday: 1-4
Monday: Closed

All of our tours of the mansion are accompanied by a Guide. The last tour of the day starts at 3 pm, an hour before closing. Don't miss the boat!

IN THE EVENT OF INCLEMENT WEATHER, PLEASE CALL THE MUSEUM TO MAKE SURE THAT WE ARE OPEN.

Admission fees:
Adults: $7.00, Seniors (65+): $6.00
Military: $6.00
Child age 6 thru college: $5.00
Children under 6 with an adult: free.
AAA and AARP members (with valid card) $6.00
Groups of 10 or more Adults (with reservations) $5.00 per person.
Groups of 10 or more Children (with reservations) $3.00 per child.
