The mission of the Museum is to preserve the Howard family story, their mansion and the history of their shipyards and to foster an appreciation of the development of river steamboats and commerce along inland rivers.

Museum Hours:

    Tuesday - Sunday: 10 - 4

    Sunday: 1 - 4

    Monday: Closed

    All of our tours of the mansion are accompanied by a Guide.

    The last tour of the day starts at 3 pm, an hour before closing.

Admission fees:

    Adults: $6.00

    Seniors (65+): $5.00

    Students age 6 thru college: $3.50

    Children under 6 with an adult: free

    AAA and AARP members (with valid card) $1.00 off regular fees

    Groups of 10 or more (with reservations) $1.00 off per person
