Dr. Darrin Rubino

Dr. Darrin Rubino, Associate Professor of Biology at Hanover College, will deliver a spirited, informative workshop on the method of scientific dating of historic buildings based on analysis of tree-ring growth patterns. This study is called dendroarchaeology. Preparing for this workshop, Dr. Dubino visited Jeffersonville in February and collected wood cores from the timbers of a historic home on East Riverside Drive. Pre-registration for the workshop is suggested but not required. Contact: Historic Landmarks Foundation, 812-284-4534
