Call for Thums!

The Howard Steamboat Museum in Jeffersonville, Indiana, has announced that this November's Fall into Art artist will be Patty Thum, a turn-of-the-century Louisville artist known internationally for her flower paintings.

In conjunction with this, the museum is issuing a call for Thums. If you know someone who owns a Thum or if you own a Thum, the museum would appreciate hearing about it.

Also, if you know of someone with memories of Miss Thum, the museum would would be eager to learn more about her.

This exhibit, the first devoted to this artist in decades, will run November 1 - 22 and will feature landscapes and still lifes in oil and watercolor, as well as drawings and period prints. As is usual with Fall Into Art events, a full-color catalog will be produced.

Contact Yvonne Knight at the Howard by email at hsmsteam@aol.com, or by phone at (812) 283-3728 or toll-free at (888) 472-0606.
