17th Annual Wine Tasting & Silent Auction
Along with a Drawing for a Vespa Motor Scooter
Friday, October 2, 2009
6:30 PM to 9:30 PM

This antique steamboat glass sun catcher is one of many items in the silent auction.

At the Howard Steamboat Museum’s 17th Annual Wine Tasting & Silent Auction, participants will be treated to auctions, a drawing for a motor scooter, a scrumptious cocktail buffet and live music.

The Vespa Motor Scooter Raffle is a fundraiser to help meet the generous $500,000. challenge grant offered by the Paul Ogle Foundation toward the $1,000,000 Capital Campaign goal to protect, improve and preserve the mansion. The winning ticket will be drawn during the evening.

Reservations for the Wine Tasting are $40.00 per person and two for $70.00. Vespa raffle tickets are still available: 1 for $10.00, 3 for $20.00 or 8 for $40.

The HSM is a nonprofit 501 (c) organization dedicated to preserving the Howard legacy and the story of the Great Steamboat Era.

The event will take place at the Howard Steamboat Museum, 1101 E. Market St., Jeffersonville.
