The Gold Leaf Volunteer Luncheon was established in 2000
by the Community Foundation of Southern Indiana (CFSI)
as a way to support and encourage area organizations by
helping them recognize their volunteers and gain greater
public awareness.
For the past five years, Warren & Julie have served
as the co-curators for the museum's annual Fall Into Art
exhibit. In 2006, using their extensive photography, design,
layout and editing skills, they (along with Mary Starr and
Madeline Covi) created a beautiful and comprehensive catalog
to accompany the exhibit, Norman Kohlhepp: Artist.
Other curatorial duties for the five exhibits included:
selection and arrangement of works of art, "hanging" the
exhibit, theme development, etc. Julie & Warren have added
an experienced and professional approach to the annual exhibit. Their involvement has heightened the reputation of the Howard Steamboat Museum within the Louisville-Metro art community.
