Landmark Institutions: The Howard Steamboat Museum and the Remnant Trust

A Presentation by Phil Vogt

The Remnant Trust, formerly the Carnegie Library

Phil Vogt, an associate professor of philosophy at Southfield, Mich.’s Lawrence Technological University, is working as a visiting scholar at The Remnant Trust, which is located in the Carnegie Library Building in Warder Park.

The Remnant Trust is a collection of original and first-edition works on liberty and human dignity, with some pieces dating to 1250. The collection moved from Hagerstown to Jeffersonville earlier this year.
