"The Hi-tops" an all girl band ranging from 10 to 13 years
old of Jeffersonville, Indiana. This band has been together
for four and a half years now. They play rock-n-roll, oldies,
top 40, country, some Christian songs and this past year has
been busy in the studio with four new original songs.
The girls began performing through Mom’s Music Rock School
program in Jeffersonville. “the Hi-Tops” were formed as
development bands through the Rock School Program and
are now in the Performance Rock School Program.
Places they have played: 4th Street Live, Hard Rock Café,
Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom, JAMfest, Phoenix Hill Tavern
(Chili Cookoff), Relay for Life (Cancer) walk, Howard
Steamboat Chautauqua, Kentucky State Fair, WDJX Birthday
Bash, Salem Motor Speedway (ARCA race), churches, political
campaign stops, street dances, birthday parties, schools,
county fairs, graduation parties, churches, parades,
Louisville Zoo, company picnics, family gatherings,
various restaurants, and festivals and has been featured
on FOX 41 and also in the Courier Journal, Evening News,
Indiana Weekly and Underwired Magazine.
Four of the girls go to Parkview Middle School and are in
Seventh Grade, Bayley our youngest goes to Utica Elementary
where she is in the Fourth Grade. Remington Maxwell,
12 years, plays the guitar and is the lead vocalist,
Jessie Madill, 13 years, plays lead guitar and also sings,
Madison Cunningham 12 years, plays the drums and we have
sisters Allyson Whitlow 13 years, plays the keyboard and
Bayley Whitlow 10 years, plays the bass guitar and
also sings.
