The Steamboat INDIANA

The Side-wheeler, "Indiana" was built in 1900. Built at the Howard Shipyards, the packet carried people, mail, and cargo between Louisville & Cincinnati on the Ohio River.

AMERICA

The AMERICA was built in the Howard shipyards in 1917. The hull and machinery came from the INDIANA, which had burned off her upper works at Cincinatti on May 1, 1916 (Frederick Way Jr., Way's Packet Directory) .

Bostona

The BOSTONA was dismantled around 1899 and her machinery was taken to the Howard shipyards and installed in the INDIANA (Frederick Way Jr., Way's Packet Directory).
